The Olympian

There was always a need of recognizing the past and making it a part of a contemporary world. And here we are, celebrating the ancient feasts and paying tribute to old festivals.

This silver seal was made in 2011 for the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Contest which took place in 2012. Our artwork was commended in Die Sinkers and Engravers category.

The seal presents antique Myron sculpture – the Discobolus. Realistic muscles are shown in detail to ensure true pleasure of contact with art. A turn to ancient art was inspired by Olimpic Games dispended in London in 2012.
