The Pax Christi Seal

The silver Pax Christi seal was made in 2013 for The Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council Contest and won silver award in Craft Section 3D Finished Pieces, Engravers in Die Sinkers and Engravers category in 2014.

The seal presents two fighting deers which are identified with domination and infatuation of power. Beneath fighting animals there are warriors, knights and sovereigns looking at the divine angel. The God’s emissary is holding a sword and a scales in his hands. We use real deer horn to emphasize the link between injustice and violence with animality and an oak leaves as a handle pattern.
